What does Story Gets Bigger Generator do?

Story Gets Bigger Generator traces one established party event through two to six suggested retellings. Keep the original truth fixed and compare each stage teller, audience, motive, wording and notes on omissions, substitutions, exaggerations and inventions before using the chain.

What do I prepare before generating a chain?

Enter the original event, party subject, established facts, two to six stages and a teller motive. Deep preparation adds original wording, first teller and audience, audience shifts, social pressure, memorable detail and protected facts. Memory quality, distortion intensity and tone are reference inputs.

How do chosen-stage rerolls and locks work?

Reroll from a chosen stage to replace it and every later stage while retaining earlier Dungeon Master stages. A lock blocks starting a reroll at that stage; it does not protect it from a reroll started earlier. A new full generation replaces locked stages. Review the revised links and player view before sharing.

Can I keep an edited chain after closing?

Download the current chain before closing to keep it. Session history retains full generations and their original inputs and results, while later edits and rerolls do not update those entries. Review and download the current edited result when you want to retain it.

What can I share with players?

Copy, download or print the current full result or player view, or copy final public wording separately. The player view includes complete stage details, protected facts, teller motives, changes and original wording in the first comparison. Review that view before sharing, especially after rerolls or edits.
